Abstract :
[en] We detail the first Italian record of Dasypoda braccata EVERSMANN 1852 in the Val di Susa (Near Torino, Piemonte, Italy). This new occurrence shifts the occidental limit of this ponto-mediterranean species of several hundreds kilometres westwards. We describe the habitat and discuss the presence of this oriental species in the Alps. We compare the distribution of D. braccata with that of other insects that occur in the same region and exhibit a similar oriental distribution. This finding points out the entomological richness of this continental and xeric alpine valley.
