[en] We present a new way to achieve selective frequency conversion using a system of
two coupled cavities. We show that the coupling between the cavities allows to select frequencies
for which the frequency conversion is enhanced. This analysis in based on coupled mode
equations that we solve numerically and using a simple approximation to extract the relevant
parameters in this setup. This mechanism is fairly general and can be applied to any physical
system of coupled resonances.
