Abstract :
[en] In the framework of the education of Theoretical Mechanics taugth to undergraduate engineering students,a Mechanical Virtual Laboratory has been created. This Mechanical Virtual Laboratory is a dynamic web site offering some interactive animations of mechanical systems simulated with the home-made EasyDyn simulation library. Each animation issues from a specific C++ application generating a VRML animation file which can be directly visualized in a web browser. The default value of some geometrical parameters can be modified by the user from a HTML page. The input data keyed by the user are sent to the web server via a HTTP request and are processed by a CGI script which updates the VRML animation file.
