[en] A true triaxial testing device has been developed in the nineties in the mining department of the Faculty of Engineering, Mons-Belgium. Since then data have been gathered from several rocks, among which various carbonated rocks exhibiting different mechanical behaviours. In this work, we compare the behaviour of three limestones: a compact and strong one (Soignies limestone, UCS=100-120MPa), a compact one with medium strength (Moca limestone, UCS = 60MPa) and a soft and porous one (Sorcy limestone, UCS=40 MPa).
