Abstract :
[en] New directions and fascinating developments have now become major fields of interest for medicinal plants and their isolated phytochemicals. The present chapter aims to provide unique insights into these innovative trends that will certainly lead to the validation of a series of phytotherapy treatments, but also to the discovery of new pharmacological moieties sorely needed for many infectious, parasitic, and nontransmissible diseases. We propose to focus the present review on metabolomics-based phytochemistry, in silico docking, and nanotechnologies.
