Abstract :
[en] The optical properties of gold nanoparticles (NPs) originating from the collective oscillations of their conduction electrons (LSPR) play a major role in the development of nanotechnology-based optical devices. In this study, we investigated the kinetics of growth of theses nano-objects in real time with imaging ellipsometry, a spatially-resolved non-destructive method based on the relative change of polarization of light at the interface between two media. During the annealing of the nanocomposite, we followed the variation of the ellipsometric angles with a spatial resolution of 1 µm per pixel.
