Abstract :
[en] A steam turbine is the most strategic installation in an electricity production process. Its unforeseen unavailability will lead immediately to the loss of production and it can be the seat of incidents or severe accidents threatening the safe operation of the machine and personal security. The purpose of this article is to present the implementation of a vibration monitoring system of a steam turbine in the context to replace the routine maintenance of this machine by a conditional preventive maintenance to avoid serious human, material or economic losses, in case of incident or failure of this equipment.
