[en] This study analyses the impact of instructor training on firefighters' self-efficacy in education and training. Overall, 125 firefighters participated to a questionnaire survey using an adaptation of the Teachers' Sense of Efficacy Scale before and after having completed an instructor training module. At the end of training, they do feel more efficient (learning effect). Also, in between-subjects variation of self-efficacy tends to decrease (equity effect). Moreover, firefighters' background and prior experiences in education and training do influence their self-efficacy.
