traductologie - typologie des textes à traduire – équivocité – intraduisible – hybridité – traduction automatique
Abstract :
[en] The traditional models of typology of texts to be translated, connected, at least in part, to the textual genre, do not always allow one to easily classify a source text or to gauge its difficulty. In this respect, the "hybridity" of the categories proposed by K. Reiss (Grundfragen der Übersetzungswissenschaft), is particularly revealing, both for the evaluation of texts to be translated and for the establishment of a typology adapted to the new machine translation tools. The examination of this classification makes it possible to propose a single criterion : the degree of equivocality of the source text, which is disambiguated by intra- or extralinguistic elements. That criterion can, on the one hand, give a homogeneous account of the categories usually defined, and, on the other hand, offer a typology adapted to machine translation tools : the degree of equivocality of the source text, which is disambiguated by intra- or extralinguistic elements.
