[en] The fourth record for Philoctetes truncatus for the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia after 52 years is reported, additionally representing the first find for the north-western part of the state. In 2021, the presence of the rare species was confirmed by a further record. Additionally an up-to-date overview on the Euro-Siberian distribution of the species is given
