Abstract :
[fr] À la suite de l’intégration d’outils de thérapie cognitivo-comportementale (TCC) et l’inclusion de proches dans notre
programme psychoéducatif « Epaulons le trouble bipolaire » (ETB), nous avons souhaité en mesurer l’effet sur la prévention
des rechutes chez le patient, et plus spécifiquement les rechutes dépressives, ainsi que la plus-value sur l’évolution du patient
de l’intégration des proches, et l’impact sur ces derniers. Dans cette étude ont été inclus les participants aux groupes entre
2012 et 2017 : 60 patients ont été enrôlés, dont 40 étaient accompagnés d’un proche et 20 venaient seuls. Les patients
et leurs proches ont bénéficié d’évaluations de suivi. ETB s’est montré efficace de façon comparable au Barcelona Bipolar
Disorder Program (BBDP) de Colom et Vieta en matière de prévention de rechute notamment dépressive, mais n’a pas pu
démonter la plus-value de l’intégration des proches sur leur évolution. Les connaissances et la souffrance des proches se sont
vues améliorées.
[en] Following the integration of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy
(CBT) and the inclusion of relatives in our psycho-educational
program “Let’s support bipolar disorder” (ETB), we wanted to
measure the effect on the prevention of relapses in the patient,
and more specifically the depressive relapses, as well as the
added value on the evolution of the patient of integration of
relatives, and the impact on them. In this study were included
participants in groups between 2012 and 2017: 60 patients were
enrolled, 40 of whom were accompanied and 20 came alone.
Patients and their relatives received follow up assessments. ETB
was shown to be effective in a way comparable to Colom and
Vieta's Barcelona Bipolar Disorder Program (BBDP) in terms of
preventing relapse, particularly depression, but was unable to
demonstrate the added value of the integration of relatives on
their development. The knowledge and suffering of relatives
have improved.
[nl] Na de integratie van Cognitieve gedragstherapie (CBT)-instru-
menten en de opname van familieleden in ons psycho-educatief
programma « Epaulons le trouble bipolaire » (ETB), wordt het ef-
fect op de preventie van een terugval bij de patiënt gemeten, en
meer specifiek depressieve terugvallen, evenals de toegevoegde
waarde op de evolutie van de integratie van de familieleden, en
hun impact hierop. In dit onderzoek werden deelnemers van
groepen opgenomen tussen 2012 en 2017, 60 patiënten werden
ingeschreven, waarvan 40 werden begeleid door een familielid
en 20 kwamen alleen. Patiënten en hun families kregen ver-
volgbeoordelingen. ETB bleek effectief te zijn op een manier die
vergelijkbaar was met het Barcelona Bipolaire Stoornis Program-
ma (BBDP) van Colom en Vieta in termen van preventie van teru-
gval, vooral depressief, maar kon de toegevoegde waarde van de
integratie van familieleden in hun evolutie niet bevestigen. De
kennis en het leed van familieleden zijn kenbaar verbeterd.
