[en] The article analyzes the film «Il Cristo proibito» (1951), the Curzio Malaparte's single movie ever filmed. Leveraging on the edited and unpublished material, the article describes the first encounter of the writer with the world of cinema and then it focuses on the development of «Il Cristo proibito» by carrying out a textual analysis of different versions of screenplays written by Malaparte. The examination of these texts highlights the willingness demonstrated by the writer to introduce himself to the world of cinema and reveals a dynamic modulation of styles and narrative situations.
One last section is devoted to the relationship between «Il Cristo proibito» and Neorealism. Though the film comes out in a period still strongly influenced by neo-realistic aesthetics and shares its themes, it doesn't align to this movement. Its expressionist and metaphysical feature and the desire to transfigure the naked testimony by a pictorial way makes «Il Cristo proibito» a work that is hard to frame in the context of the 1950's cinema history. [it] L'articolo analizza il film «Il Cristo proibito» (1951), l'unica pellicola girata dallo scrittore Curzio Malaparte. Dopo aver ricostruito, attraverso materiali editi e inediti, la storia dell'avvicinamento dello scrittore al cinema, ci si concentra sulla storia elaborativa del film portando avanti un'analisi testuale della prima sceneggiatura, di diversi avantesti e della sceneggiatura desunta. L'esame di questi testi evidenzia il carattere tutt'altro che occasionale ed estemporaneo dell'incontro di Malaparte con il cinema e rivela, al contrario, un continuo ripensamento di stili e situazioni narrative.
Un'ultima sezione è dedicata al rapporto tra «Il Cristo proibito» e il neorealismo. Benché il film esca in un periodo ancora fortemente caratterizzato dall'estetica neorealista e ne condivida le tematiche, è difficile ascriverlo a questo movimento. La sua cifra espressionistica e metafisica e la volontà di trasfigurare la nuda testimonianza per via pittorica fanno de «Il Cristo proibito» un'opera difficilmente incasellabile nel contesto cinematografico degli anni Cinquanta.
